Sierra Bravo Organizing Free Website Event for Minnesota Non-profits.

F1 Overnight Website Challenge Coming March 1, 2008

MINNEAPOLIS -- Sierra Bravo announced today an event designed to help Minnesota non-profits connect with talented web developers to build websites that help fulfill their mission - and pull an all-nighter to do it.

The 24-hour countdown starts the morning of March 1, 2008, when Sierra Bravo's F1 Overnight Website Challenge begins for selected non-profits and web development teams. Non-profits that hit the F1 key for help will hit the jackpot, with a dedicated team of professionals to consult in creating a new website, unburdened by budget constraints or long production timelines.

When the dust settles on March 2, each participating non-profit will have a new website to help them communicate with their core constituents - and all it will have cost them is a good night's sleep.

"Sierra Bravo helps companies build websites that work for their business," said Luke Bucklin, President of Sierra Bravo, based in Bloomington, Minn. "We're challenging other designers and programmers to join us in donating a little time to help some worthy Minnesota non-profits build websites that work better and smarter for their causes."

Judges will reward one team for its extraordinary online makeover. Prizes include bragging rights for the winning team - and the gratification of good work for great causes.

Sierra Bravo's F1 Overnight Website Challenge was created to catalyze more interaction between non-profits and the Twin Cities web development community. Volunteer web programmers, project managers and designers - as well as non-profits that need a new website - are encouraged to pre-register online at www.F1webchallenge.com.
