Newcastle United are close to announcing the loan exit of Siem De Jong after the Holland international passed a medical with PSV Eindhoven.
De Jong is set for a season-long loan deal with the Dutch side following two years of injury hell on Tyneside.
However, he got through a medical in Holland with no problems and will now work on fitness before getting much-needed game-time under his belt.
De Jong will also link up with his brother and former United striker Luuk De Jong.

And Luuk De Jong has already spoken to the Dutch media about the prospect of him joining PSV, he said: "It's a good opportunity for him to show himself again at the highest level.
"For PSV it is good to have a lot of competition.
"We are entering a tough season and need options.
"Once before we had the chance to play together.
"Then Siem went to Newcastle, I could have stayed there, but I chose to go to PSV.
"It's great that we can play together now anyway."
De Jong travelled to Holland over the weekend and has been pictured with a PSV fan before his medical.
The player has made just four league starts for the Magpies in two years since arriving from Ajax.
