Sick notes.

Stress levels are increasing in UK workplaces but employers are not doing enough to tackle the problem, a new report warned today.

Back strains and repetitive strain injuries were the other main work health hazards.

A survey of more than 4,500 union safety reps showed stress was up by 2% over the past two years, RSI 3% and back strain 4%.

One in 10 reps claimed their employer had not carried out risk assessments of their workplace as required by law.
