The Swedish trucks and buses manufacturer Scania said on Tuesday (13 June) that the newly established company Sibbhultsverken AB will take over its gearbox components production in Sibbhult, Sweden.

The new company, which is expected to begin operations in the second half of next year, will initially create at least 125 jobs.

Sibbhultsverken will manufacture gearbox components and retarders for Scania, as well as foundry products. The company also plans to establish production in Sibbhult for other customers.
