For those on intervention teams, Leon-Guerrero, a former classroom teacher and educational consultant who facilitates social groups and provides other behavioral therapy services, and her co-authors (U. of Washington Experimental Education Unit) provide data sheets and a brief discussion of data collection to aid in decision making for intervention and instruction with students with disabilities. The sheets (also on the CD-ROM) were developed by educators at the U. of Washington's Experimental Education Unit and consist of generic forms for students of any age or ability and those focusing on specific skills (from motor to social) for young children or those with significant cognitive delays. They are meant to increase the efficacy and effectiveness of collecting data to monitor student progress. Samples of completed sheets and graphs are included to show how teams can display data visually and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention.
