Shouting match; Your Say.
Unfortunately rude behaviour, outbursts, and attacks on an individual are not recorded.
I feel obliged to defend Cllr McPartland with regard to Mrs Parry's recent letters about a planning meeting she attended.
The decision did not go her way and, rather than go to the door with others who were leaving, she approached me and in a loud voice and pointing her finger at me, berated me.
Cllr McPartland had to ask Mrs Parry several times to stop shouting and leave the room so we could get on with the business in hand.
Eventually she obliged, but only after she had finished venting her anger on me.
JOAN McTIGUE, Independent councillor for Beechwood Ward
