Shot victim's 999 crew hit.

A MAN has been injured in a paramilitary-style shooting.

The victim, in his 30s, was shot in the leg in the Turf Lodge area of West Belfast.

The attack in Ardmonagh Gardens was reported to police at around 10.30am on Tuesday.

The victim's injuries are not life-threatening.

A paramedic vehicle responding to the shooting was hit by at least one object thrown on the Whiterock Road.

A spokesman said: "The side window of the vehicle was shattered and fortunately the paramedic was protected by protective film used to hold the shattered glass in place."

It is the sixth attack on crews in the past 10 days.
