Gavin Henson believes his team-mates will benefit if opponents target him for special treatment.

The 23-year-old also admitted his relationship with former Wales captain Colin Charvis could prove difficult after comments about the current Newcastle captain's social habits and example-setting while the pair were at Swansea. "I'm ready for any flak that's going to come my way on the rugby field," said Henson at the Millennium Stadium for the launch of his book My Grand Slam Year. "I haven't yet come across a player that has a problem with the book and if there are any players with a problem with what I've written, I'd ask them to give me a call or at least read the book first, then say their piece.

"I don't think I could be any more of a marked man than I already was."
