Shortage of teachers,basic facilities at girls' middle school.
ISLAMABAD -- Shortage of teaching staff and other basic facilities are creating problems fpr students at the girls' middle school in village Karikot area of WANA Sub-Division of South Waziristan.
Local citizen told reporter on Friday that more than 400 female students were studying at the this school.
They have complained that from a long time school had a shortage of basic facilities and teaching staff.
They said that local people many times had complained to the concerned authority and brought the problems in their notice but so far no measure had been taken to resolve these issues.
They said that precious time of students was wasting, as there were no teachers for Mathematics, English and Science subjects.
The students complained that they were compelled to clean their school, as there was no peon in the school.
They demanding of the government to upgrade the school into high school and provid all basic facilities for the bright future of the students.
Agency Education Officer Muhib-ur-Rehman said that all the problems including shortage of teaching staff at the school would be resolved soon.
He said that Federal Government took various steps for promoting quality education in FATA and gradually all the problems would be resolve soon.
