Short work for Murray.

ANDY MURRAY enjoyed a shorter match against the tallest man in tennis to reach the French Open fourth round.

The world No.2 had needed 10 sets and more than seven hours to win his first two drama-packed matches at Roland Garros.

But against the massive serve of 6ft 11in Ivo Karlovic, Murray won comfortably 6-1 6-4 7-6. "It was nice to win quickly - it gives me a chance to kind of recover from the first few days, which is good," he said.

He will play John Isner tomorrow after the American came through his own five-set marathon against Russia's Teymuraz Gabashvili.
