Shopping tip; YOUR LETTERS.

I felt I had to write and tell your readers about an excellent service for shoppers in Liverpool which I've only just discovered and which I think maybe not many people know about.

I bought a car seat for my little boy from Marks & Spencer in Church Street during lunch hour last week and was dreading having to carry it back to my office. It was then that an assistant told me about a collection service which they offer, allowing you to pick up your shopping later in your car from a depot in Queen Square.

At a time when out-of-town mega shops are in danger of totally depersonalising shopping in our cities, I applaud M & S's efforts to help take the strain out of buying in the city centre.
