Shopper grabs cash at store.

A TILL snatch in Leamington over the weekend is being linked to a similar incident in Stratford last week.

A man went into Sainsbury's on the Shires Retail Park about 8.40pm and took a pot of yoghurt to the checkout.

But when the till was opened he snatched cash, ran out of the store and made off in a red Ford Sierra.

It carried number plates stolen from a Fiat Tipo parked in the same car park.

The man was described as white, 5ft 10in, slim, with a dark-coloured jacket.

The theft is being linked to a till snatch at the Maybird shopping centre, Birmingham Road, Stratford, last Wednesday when pounds 400 was taken from a man at a till in Poundstretcher.
