Scientists claim that shoppers using "bags for life" run a high risk of food poisoning as they're heavily contaminated with bacteria from previous groceries.

Which is great news for people like me who frequently catch the superior expression of someone pulling those bags out at the checkout, which says "some of us don't mind paying 20p to save the planet unlike selfish, polluting scumbags like you".

How reassuring to know that us scumbags for life will outlive the smug gits who've been putting their groceries into what must now surely be known as "bags for death".
