Shop staff should stand up and do their duty.

I was shopping at a well-known store and was in line for the fitting room when I noticed one lady had with her 10 items to try on.

I asked the member of staff on the fitting room if this was allowed and was told the rule was only to allow three pieces, but he told me there was nothing he could do about it.

I told him that it was his job to do the right thing.

He asked me not to make trouble as he would lose his job.

I politely told him that I was not making trouble and that staff are there to do the right thing.

The duty manager came, apologised and said the three-piece policy was right. He further said that they would definitely train their staff.

Not all have the courage to say these things, I hope this will serve as a lesson. For the staff, don't just stand there, please do the right thing.

And shoppers, please follow the policy and respect others.
