Shop gets into the groove with vinyl.
Tesco are set to tap into the vinyl revival by stocking a range of records for Christmas.
The supermarket are hoping to entice shoppers looking for vintage musical gifts.
They will sell 20 vinyl records, including the latest releases from Coldplay and George Ezra.
Classic albums by Bruce Springsteen, Bob Marley, Elvis Presley, Foo Fighters, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Radiohead will also be available, priced at PS12 to PS20.
The supermarket have also started selling record decks.
Tesco had a trial vinyl release of Iron Maiden's latest album, The Book Of Souls, across 55 stores in the summer.
Michael Mulligan, the supermarket's music buyer, said: "Our trial was a real success with all our stock selling out and this proved to us just how popular the vinyl album format is again.
"Vinyl is definitely coming back and we think there will be a big demand this Christmas as music fans look for trendy gifting options."
The move follows a 50 per cent rise in vinyl sales in the UK to almost 1.3 million in the last year - the highest annual total since 1995.
The range will be available for a limited time only but Tesco have not ruled out expanding their collection in the future.
