NEW Top Gear host Chris Evans will be hoping for the speedy sale of part of his classic car collection - including SIX super-fast Ferraris.

The Radio 2 DJ is putting 13 motors under the hammer and they are expected to earn him [euro]15million.

Among the lots are a rare right-hand drive 1966 Ferrari 275, which has a guide price of up to [euro]4million, and his 1971 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider, listed for [euro]3.6million.

If your pockets are not so deep, he is also selling a 1983 Fiat 127 Abarth, for between [euro]13,000 and [euro]20,000.

Other top lots include his replica of the 1936 Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car from the 1968 film, for [euro]490,000.

Also up for grabs are a 1989 Ferrari 328 GTS, [euro]139,000-[euro]180,000; a 1965 Ferrari 275 GTS Spyder, [euro]1.8-2.2million; 1967 Jaguar XKSS Lynx, [euro]454,000-[euro]524,000; and a 1963 Ferrari 250 SWB replica, [euro]699,000-[euro]840,000.

Sholto Gilbertson, of Bonhams, who is organising the September 12 sale, said: "In refreshing his collection, others will have the opportunity to enjoy Chris's fantastic cars - after all, you never 'own' a classic car, you enjoy it, look after it and pass it on to others."

The One Show host will also auction 140 lots of car memorabilia in aid of Children In Need.

He's also selling a 1963 Ferrari 250 GT/L 'Lusso', [euro]2.5million; 1949 Jaguar XK120 'Alloy' Roadster, [euro]454,000; 1970 Mercedes 280SL 'Pagoda', [euro]139,000; 1958 Jaguar XK150 3.4 Fixed Head Coupe, [euro]76,000-[euro]90,000; and a 1964 Daimler Dart Police Car SP250, [euro]69,000-[euro]83,000.
