Shooting 110 from the hip.

The new X300 weapon light from Surefire features a powerfully bright Light Emitting Diode (LED) that provides enough power to temporarily blind one's opponent with 110 Lumens. The compact, waterproof tactical light features advanced LED technology (no filament to burn out), new integrated circuits that ensure a 'controlled burn' and a special focusing reflector that provides both a fine spot and wide flood to illuminate what is in a user's peripheral vision. The light slides onto most handguns with Universal Standard accessory rails or can be mounted on standard Picatinny rails. Two on/off switches allow for ambidextrous use and remote switching is available so a user need not alter his grip on the weapon. The LED window is of tempered Pyrex (LEDs produce high temperatures) and the X300's case is aerospace-grade aluminium. The X300 is, as most of Surefire's tactical lights, powered by two 123A lithium batteries.
