Shocking behaviour not just exclusive to kids.

To Anon 'Shocked at Behaviour of kids at Concert' (Oct 23), hear, hear!

I too am amazed to see how some teenagers act and can't understand why parents allow them unrestricted freedom of dress and behaviour.

However, I also notice that many adults dress and behave in a way that is unacceptable to any society and I'm often witness to violent behaviour and cruel acts and rudeness.

However, there are many parents here who do a great job bringing their children up to respect themselves and others and who do a great job.

Shocked too

Don't generalise - my girl knows how to behave

To the writer of the letter 'Shocked by behaviour of kids at concert', why are you generalising?

My daughter was there as well, she's 15, doesn't drink and had the time of her life. Yes, there will be always girls who think its 'cool' to behave like they behave.

But most of them don't. I find it really disturbing how you generalise all teenagers.

There are teenagers who do respect the culture of the UAE, like my daughter and her friends.

She's now looking forward to go to Enrique Iglesias. I hope she will have the time of her life again.
