Shinners on vote warpath.

Byline: KEN MURRAY

THE Shinners know from past experience that every single vote counts when it comes to elections... and in particular the General Election.

So to make sure that every person of voting age can participate in next year's poll, the party has launched a State-wide voter registration campaign.

According to MEP Mary-Lou McDonald, 'Our campaign follows the announcement of a welcome overhaul of the electoral register.

"However, with each local authority overhauling the register to its own system and the Department recommending only two visits to every household, we are concerned that eligible voters, in particular young people and low-income families, may be left off the register. ''

How thoughtful of Sinn Fein!
