Sharp announced FP-F40-W air purifier in India at Rs. 24,990.

India, Nov. 27 -- Sharp has introduced the FP-F40E-W air purifier in India for Rs. 24,990. The purifier uses a combination of active and passive purification systems as well as Plasmacluster Ion Generators and a set of filters. The True HEPA & Active Carbon Filters and padded pre-filters kills airborne & surface adhering moulds, fungi, viruses and clinging odours. The FP-F40E-W works will in rooms between 200 to 300 square feet and can be placed on the floor or the table. It has five modes including Haze mode which is specially designed for urban conditions. In this mode, the purifier operates on a 60 minute cycle to collect small particles up to 0.3 microns in size.

As of now we are exposed to air pollution all 24 hours a day. In fact our exposures to pollutants are more Indoor. The model FP-F40E-W uses a dust sensor for monitoring quality of air and works well for rooms between 200 to 300 square-feet. These air purifiers are portable and can be placed on the floor or a table. It has 5 modes - Haze, Auto, Low, Medium and High. The Haze Mode available only with Sharp is specially designed for urban conditions where the tiny particles get trapped in the lower atmosphere due to the dew factor.
