Sharks target Farepak losers.

LOAN sharks are circling the victims of Christmas savings and hamper firm Farepak.

Families left struggling after losing hundreds of pounds in vouchers and hamper goods are being targeted outside shopping centres by illegal moneylenders.

The sharks have been spotted at the Red Road flats in Balornock, Glasgow, and nearby Springburn shopping precinct.

Around 15,000 Scots families were hit by the collapse of Farepak, losing an average of pounds 400 each.

Last night, Farepak agent Linda Scouller, 34, said: "It's disgusting they are being targeted by people who just want to make a fast profit."

Victims are being urged to go to reputable credit unions instead of moneylenders.
