Sharjah Ruler raises minimum pension to Dh17,500.

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, on Sunday raised the minimum retirement pensions of government employees in Sharjah to Dh17,500 from Dh12,000 per month. According to WAM, Sheikh Sultan said that the government has undertaken many initiatives to support families that need subsidies and support. The latest decision will cost the government Dh36 million.
