Sharing in good fortune.

Kerry Harkness and her best pal are set to have a night out to remember after scooping our latest pounds 1,000 prize.

The mum-of-three, of Lancefield Avenue, Walker, Newcastle has decided to split her March Mayhem winnings with best friend Debbie Wrightson.

The pair had a pact that if one of them won the grand then they would go halves. Housewife Kerry, 34, said: "I can't believe I've won. I was joking with my friend Debbie that if we both entered the competition and one of us won then we'd have to split the money 50/50.

"When I found out I'd been picked I immediately rang Debbie and I think she thought I was having a laugh but we can go on a big night out."

But as well as hitting the town Kerry intends to spend the money on her children Jaime nine, Leah, three, and Lacey, eight-months.

"I'm going to treat my children to some toys and whatever else they want as they're so excited I've won," explained Kerry. "I might even buy myself a new outfit."
