Shaped pouch is a first in fruit snacking.

Pouch pioneer Clifton Packaging has teamed up with fruit snacking experts Whitworth to produce a first for fruit snacks--a shaped stand up pouch multipack that turns into a hand puppet.

Launch of the shaped pouch for Whitworth's new Sunny Raisin Nuggets range is another breakthrough for Clifton following major investment in the UK's only production line for shaped and spouted pouches.

Each shaped multipack pouch, which has a resealable zipper, contains six 30g pillow packs of the new Sunny Raisin Nuggets aimed at children--juicy raisins with chocolate, yoghurt or fruit flavoured coatings. Printed with striking seven-colour graphics, the polyester/PE pouches can be turned into a hand puppet when parents cut along the bottom.

The new product went on sale in multiple stores throughout the UK from the beginning of May.
