Shanghai Airlines chooses Goodrich's electric braking system for Dreamliner aircraft.


Goodrich Corporation (NYSE: GR), which supplies components, systems and services to the commercial and general aviation airplane markets, on 8 March reported that Shanghai Airlines Co Ltd has selected Goodrich to supply wheels and electrically-actuated brakes for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft it will be adding to its fleet.

Shanghai Airlines has nine Dreamliners on order with entry into service scheduled to commence in 2008.

No financial terms of the agreement were available.
