Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Sunday visited Dubai Safari Park and toured its various sections.

He was ccompanied by Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates airline and Group, and Shaikh Ahmad Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation.

Shaikh Mohammad was received by Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality, who briefed him on the wildlife park, which houses four villages.

Shaikh Mohammad viewed the huge model of the park before touring the park's various sections in an environment-friendly cart. He visited the open Safari Village and the Bird House.

He expressed his satisfaction with the completion of such a huge project within six years and described it as a unique addition to the UAE's infrastructure and service projects.
