Sex cons jail 'agony'.
DOZENS of sex offenders claim appalling conditions in a Scots prison are making them ill.
Banged up in pairs at Peterhead jail, the cons claim they are sometimes forced to throw slop buckets full of human waste out of cell windows.
Now 36 B-Hall annexe prisoners have visited the prison doctor complaining of ailments ranging from sickness and diarrhoea to pounding headaches, sore eyes and throats.
One inmate said: "You name it, these guys have got it. Sometimes it gets so bad people empty the slop bucket out of the windows."
Conditions at the jail were branded a "national disgrace" by former HM Chief Inspector of Prisons Clive Fairweather.
But a Prison Service spokesman said: "We are not aware of an increase in the number of medical conditions as a result of doubling-up in cells."
