Sex bias snag on fairway.
A TOP councillor who heads a sexual equality campaign is a member of a MEN-ONLY golf club.David Begg, of the politically-correct Edinburgh City Council, plays at the snooty pounds 400-a-year Duddingston club.
But last night, the red-faced Labour councillor - who is an adviser to Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott - defended his position.
He said: "I'd be keen to try to change the rules of the club."
But Daphne Sleigh, leader of the city council's Tories, said: "He is clearly paying lip service to equality."
