Seven Scousers who stole the show ahead of the Champions League final; Reds fans have been sharing their banners and inspirational stories.

In just a few hours,Liverpool FCwill face Real Madrid in the Reds' biggest match in a decade - and the fans have come out in force to show their support.

The road to Kiev has been a long one for many Reds fans, with supporters making their way to the final by any means possible.

Fans were still making their way to the airport this morning to catch the final flights to Kiev, withLiverpool Airport getting totally taken overby chanting and singing.

In true Scouse style, fans in Liverpool and Kiev have proved just how much they love a party, with an incredible atmosphere building at home and away.

Here we round up seven Scousers who stole the show in the build-up to tonight's Champions League final, from amazing outfits to incredible banners and inspiring stories.

You might remember the heart-warming story of a dad and his young son who got tickets to the final after Reds star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlainhelped them out in an incredible gesture.

Kopite Joe Jaggar feared that he would have to break the news to his four-year-old son Bobbi that they wouldn't be attending the showdown with Real Madrid in Kiev after they missed out in the club ballot.

However,Oxlade-Chamberlainspotted their plight on social media and reduced Jaggar to tears by messaging him to say he had a pair of tickets for them.

Today, the father and son pair headed off to Kiev ready for the final - and Bobbi was over the moon, leading fans in chants at the airport and carrying round his own inflatable European trophy.

The Edwards family were looking incredibly glam as they checked in for their flight to Kiev this morning.

The huge group of excited fans turned up in their Champions League shirts, with rollers in their hair ready for the journey to the final.

Speaking to our reporter at the airport, the women joked: "It's just us ladies going.. or should we say single ladies for the weekend."

It's important to arrive with all your essentials when you're travelling to a Champions League final - and this Reds fan certainly brought a smile to passengers' faces with his unusual carry-on item.

The Liverpool supporter used his baggage allowance for one special item... a giant cardboard cut-out of star striker Mo Salah.

He told our reporter: "I'm hoping he can go in the hold. Getting him there should be no problem but bringing him back is a different story."

Stephen Chapman stopped to pose with his Firmino scarf at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, before heading off to the Champions League Final.

The atmosphere was absolutely incredible at John Lennon Airport this morning, with Reds fans practically taking over the departure lounge with Liverpool FC chants and songs.

Allez Allez Allez rang out across the terminal, as hundreds of fans joined in waving scarves and flags and belting out the tune, which has become synonymous with the Reds' Champions League journey.

Before jetting off on their early morning flight, this group of supporters stopped to pose for a picture at check-in, with one of the men proudly sporting an 'Egyptian King' crown, in a nod to Mo Salah.

These excited fans stopped to pose for a photo in the departures lounge of the airport before their flight to Kiev.

The Reds fans showed off their Liverpool scarves and special edition Klopp masks, which they were taking with them to the final.

Thousands of passengers have been making their way through the airport ahead of the final tonight, but some went the extra mile to show their support for the Club with costumes, outfits and banners.
