Setting standards in industrial hand safety.

THROUGH continual investment in research and product development at their state-of-the-art UKAS accredited Innovation Centre combined with a reputation for quality and exceptional levels of customer service, BM Polyco has set the standard in industrial hand protection.

In 2010, BM Polyco extended its HexArmor range of ISEA Level 5 cut, puncture, abrasion, and needle-stick resistant gloves to offer task-specific performance gloves. Combining SuperFabric with high performance technologies, the new HexArmor Gator Grip GGT5 and GGT5 Mud gloves offer users a premium choice of product for the oil and gas industry.

Tested under the most widely used industry methods of mechanical hazard assessment which meet both ANSI/ISEA and CE Level 5, HexArmor products are tested using the EN388 method for mechanical abrasion, cut resistance, tear resistance and puncture resistance to ensure superior performance.

The Gator Grip GGT5 is made with SuperFabric - a material which offers the highest cut resistance available on the market and the strongest grip in any oily situation. It provides puncture protection from wickers, burrs and cable wire combined with padded protection on the back of the hand and fingers to reduce impact injuries.

And with its ability to prevent the formation of film by displacing fluids, the Gator Grip GGT5 allows maximum contact and grip with tools and other surfaces in saturated conditions.

Add the gloves' high visibility colour for easier signalling and compliance and washable properties to the mix, it is easy to see why the Gator Grip GGT5 is fast-becoming the glove of choice for users within the oil and gas industries needing maximum grip in high viscosity situations.

The GGT5 Mud follows the same design template as its Gator Grip GGT5 cousin and is widely used in environments where a strong grip is required in a light to medium oil-based oil situation. In addition to the features it shares with the Gator Grip GGT5, the GGT5 Mud glove absorbs oil-based muds, providing a strong grip surface for handling tools and machinery.
