Set alarms for breakfast pie.

A FARM shop is serving an upper crust breakfast.

Hinchliffe's Farm Shop and Restaurant at Netherton has launched its Breakfast Pie - with everything you would expect from the great British fry-up.

The culinary creation, launched at the end of British Pie Week, is the work of butchers, Craig Midwood, Denzyl Weavill and Nel Weavill.

The pie includes black pudding, Hinchliffe's own scrambled egg, sizzling tomato sausages, home-cured bacon and baked beans.

Craig said: "We love experimenting with quality local produce, flavours and traditional recipes - so combining the two great British classics, the pie and the full Yorkshire breakfast, just seemed to make perfect sense.

"Our regular pies are already a huge hit with the locals, so fingers crossed they love this new addition to the pie family just as much as we do!" Simon Hirst, general manager at the award-winning company (inset), said: "Here at Hinchliffe's, we're always looking at new ways to offer fantastic quality and great variety to our customers.

"The butchery team do a fantastic job of keeping the variety of produce fun, varied and most importantly tasty," he said.
