Serious unfairness over pension plans; LETTERS.
I WISH to express my concern (and probably the concerns of millions of other pensioners) over the Coalition government's plans to bring in a new state pension of PS144 per week in 2016 for new pensioners and to leave existing pensioners on the current rate adjusted for inflation, which will be approx.PS120 per week.Is this another example of we are all in this together? The government is also lowering the number of years to qualify for state pension to 30 years.
How can this be fair? I would urge pensioners to e-mail or write to their local MP over this matter.
