Seren's a world champ.
HAWARDEN youngster Seren Williams is a world champion - at the age of nine.
The Hawarden infants pupil competed against more than 20 countries in the Tae Kwon Do world championships in Birmingham recently, becoming a double world champ, winning the tag team and individual sparring. Seren took up Tae Kwon Do at age four, in the Tae Kwon Do Tigers, and achieved her black belt when she was just eight.
Trainer Darren Richardson, of Deeside Tae Kwon Do, said: "Seren is a star.
"We're so proud of her and she thoroughly deserved the title as she trains so hard."
