Sensis Corporation, a provider of sensors, information technology and simulation and modelling to air navigation service providers, civil aviation authorities, airports, airlines and militaries, announced on Tuesday that its Airport Surface Detection Equipment, Model X (ASDE-X) is now operational at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

It also features advanced runway conflict detection and alerting technology called Safety Logic.
George Bush Intercontinental Airport is the 21st US airport to become operational with ASDE-X through the US Federal Aviation Administration's ASDE-X programme, which will see the technology being deployed in a total of 35 airports.
