Sense of Smell Day to take place in April. (Industry News).

* The ninth annual Sense of Smell Institute (SOSI) Sense of Smell Day will be held April 27 at museums and science centers across the nation. SOSI executives hope to increase public awareness of the beneficial effects of smell on all aspects of daily life through a series of activities for children and adults. This year the institute will introduce "Professor Nosetradamus," a cartoon character created for the event. Participating locations for the event include: Arizona Science Center, Phoenix; Lawrence Hall of Science, Berkeley; Scitrek, Atlanta; Maryland Science Center, Baltimore; Lied Discovery Children's Museum, Las Vegas; Explora Science Center and Children's Museum, Albuquerque; Minnesota Children's Museum, St. Paul; New York Hall of Science, Flushing Meadows; The Discovery Place, Charlotte and Science Central, Fort Wayne.
