The four four-year-old-plus winners were already Group scorers, but none of the three-year-old winners had been successful at that level.

Three of the six three-yearold winners had run in the Oaks, finishing 025.

Three winners had On the up: Sense Of run in the Lillie Langtry at Goodwood (211), two in the Galtres Stakes (41). Lillie Langtry winners finished 7141; Galtres winners 142283, Alexander Three D being the sole filly to double up.

Four winners were beaten in a Group 1 contest last time out and three of the others won in Group 3 or Listed company last time out.

Verdict None of today's three-yearold runners have scored at this level - which is the norm for winners of this race from that age group - but only Set To Music has so far reached a standard expected of Park Hill winners.

She can be passed over as Galtres winners have struggled in this race in recent years.

Sense Of Purpose and Meeznah are the pick of the older runners, with preference for the Dermot Weld raider, who is on an upward curve.
