Senate body directs ensuring free, transparent elections of NCH.
ISLAMABAD -- Senate Sub Standing Committee on National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Monday directed the ministry to ensure conducting free, fair and transparent elections of National Council for Homeopathy (NCH).
Convener of the sub committee Senator Ms Kulsoom Parveen directed the ministry to rectify anomalies in voters list so that the NCH could deliver.
She said scrutiny of voters must be ensured before holding the elections of National Council for Homeopathy.
Briefing the committee, additional secretary Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordinations said the ministry would soon appoint Returning Officer for conducting hassle free elections of National Council for Homeopathy. According to tentative date, the elections of NCH would be held on October 30.
Administrator NCH Shakeel Kayani said a total of 135 complaints had been disposed off in a period of 2.5 months. No complaint was pending.
