Senate President, Kuwaiti envoy discuss ties.

Amman, Jan. 28 (Petra)-- Senate President, Faisal Fayez, and Kuwait Ambassador, Aziz Daihani, discussed ways to enhance bilateral ties as well as Arab and Islamic issues and current regional developments. During the meeting, Fayez lauded the level of ties with Kuwait, and stressed Jordan's keenness to develop and build on them, especially in the political, economic and social fields. "We in Jordan, as a leadership and people, believe that the security and stability of the Arab Gulf states is part of our national security, and our established principles," he said, reiterating Jordan's rejection of interference in any country's affairs under any pretext. Fayez also stressed the importance of enhancing joint coordination between the two countries in these circumstances, to face the challenges the Arab world is facing. //Petra// AF 28/01/2020 15:47:28
