Selfridges launches new website.


Department store Selfridges has announced that at the beginning of November 2005 it launches its new-look, fashion magazine website, designed by design consultancy AllofUs.

According to the company, the website, featuring Selfridges' iconic yellow and black colours, will take the form of a glossy magazine and will be divided into women's, men's, health and beauty, home, leisure and technology, food and drink and children's sections. In addition to product and brand information, users will be able to access news on signings and customer events, as well as exclusive offers and competitions. Users will also be invited to sign up for a targeted monthly e-mail newsletter, the company claims.

The new web site, designed in two versions, both Flash and a DDA compliant HTML version, will be available at from 3 November. No financial details were disclosed.
