Selective Electronic Moves Headquarters to Michigan

Selective Electronic, Inc has moved its corporate headquarters from Valdese, NC, to Southfield, MI.

The decision to relocate was based on Selcom's desire to be more centrally located to its traditional Midwestern and Eastern industrial customer base, said Sune Larsson, president of Selcom's parent company in Gothenburg, Sweden. Selcom is the North American subsidiary of Selcom Holding AB.

"The new 3500 sq ft facility in Southfield will allow Selcom to expand and better accommodate its customers and their needs for technical support services," Larsson said. "The facility will include a new training center, an expanded service support area, and more warehouse space for stocking spare parts, hardware and software components for Selcom's product lines."

The Valdese operation will continue to operate as the company's Southeast regional sales office, he added.

Selcom's new address is: 21654 Melrose; Southfield, MI 48075; 313/355-5900; fax 313/355-3283.
