Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Alfred Madigele says indeed 'blessed is the hand that giveth'.

Dr Madigele was offering 100 blankets to patients at Kanye Seventh Day Adventist (KSDA) Hospital, which were donated by Seepapitso Secondary School Class of 1995 in Kanye recently.

Dr Madigele, who is also Member of Parliament for Mmathethe/Molapowabojang said it was during winter season that most patients were impacted by the harsh cold weather conditions and as such donating blankets to patients was the right decision, an achievement which should be recognised because it had ignited hope in the patients.

He encouraged class of '95 to consider extending their assistance to other villages and commended them for staying ahead of other classes by donating to the hospitalised.

He said hospitals countrywide face myriad of challenges such as shortage of blankets, transport, equipment, staff uniform, boilers and medicine and the donation came handy to address such needs.
