See-Saw for Tiger; RESULT!
THE 17th at Sawgrass is the most famous hole in golf - well, it was until December.
Its' position slap-bang in the middle of a lake means every tee-shot flirts with danger. Despite this, Tiger Woods (right) has rarely been comfortable there and bookies Corals offer 5-2 that he puts it in the water at the 17th at some stage of the Players Championship.
Not a bad bet - he's put it practically everywhere else.
Compared to other courses, Tiger does not have a great strike-rate at Sawgrass - last year three cocktail waitresses went unnailed there - and he has the added pressure this week of Phil Mickelson breathing down his neck for the world No.1 spot.
If Mickelson wins and Tiger finishes outside the top five, Lefty will be No.1, making Tiger less attractive - especially to floosies.
Tiger has started favourite for every event he's entered since 1996 - apart from the 2009 Husband Of The Year contest - but this week Mickelson is favourite, Tiger slipping out yesterday to 8-1 with Hills, who cut him from 9-2 to 7-2 to miss the halfway cut.
Mickelson is 12-1 with totesport to be world No.1 next week.
