Secure Computing Reaches 1,000th Partner Milestone with PartnersFirst Channel Program; More Than 75 Percent of Revenue Now Generated Through Worldwide Channel.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Secure Computing Corporation (NASDAQ:SCUR), the experts in securing connections between people, applications, and networks(TM), today announced that the Secure Computing PartnersFirst(TM) channel program has added its 1,000th value added reseller. The announcement is a major milestone in Secure Computing's full transition to an indirect sales model, which began in January 2004 when Secure Computing announced its "Year of the Channel." Enterprise Network Solutions was designated Secure Computing's 1,000th VAR.

"We're excited to be a Secure Computing partner," said Larry Potthoff, president of Enterprise Network Solutions. "Secure Computing is a trusted security vendor with a reputation for offering outstanding products, great support and some of the best margins in the industry. They are easy to do business with and deliver on their promises."

Secure Computing's PartnersFirst program is designed to help partners excel in delivering superior, manageable network security solutions to customers worldwide. Secure Computing's products provide significant recurring revenue opportunities and impressive margin incentives. PartnersFirst is also the proud recipient of the VARBusiness Five-Star award two years running.

Secure Computing's full product lineup includes:

--Sidewinder G2(R) Security Appliance -- Customers worldwide trust the world's strongest firewall/Unified Threat Management appliance that has never been hacked or compromised in 10 years. The Sidewinder G2 provides partners a great platform for recurring revenue with add-on subscription sales for anti-virus, anti-spam, and web filtering.

--SafeWord(R) Strong Authentication -- SafeWord helps administrators eliminate the risks associated with the use of one-time passwords. SafeWord tokens make excellent high-margin security add-ons to existing networks. Among the branded tokens are SafeWord(R) RemoteAccess(TM), SafeWord(R) for Check Point, SafeWord(R) for Citrix(R), SafeWord RemoteAccess, Cisco compatible, and SafeWord(R) for Nortel Networks. SafeWord branded tokens do not expire and have replacement guarantees.

--SmartFilter(R) -- SmartFilter and SmartFilter, Bess edition, are used by corporations, government agencies and schools worldwide to ensure proper and productive Internet use. SmartFilter's all-in-one subscription price includes all updates, over 70 filtering categories (with no additional charges for premium categories), full reporting, and 24x7 technical support. Web filtering is sold as a subscription -- meaning recurring revenue for partners.

"It is critical to us and our customers that our partners are the best in the industry in their ability to sell our world-class, defense-in-depth security solutions," said Chris Peterson, vice president of OEM and Channel Sales for Secure Computing. "Last year we committed to dramatically grow our channel through our PartnersFirst program. As of last quarter, more than 75 percent of sales are now coming through our partners, up from 65 percent the year previous. Secure Computing's outstanding sales and market share growth are a direct result of our success with our resellers worldwide."
