Seasonal ale brewed by Wild Goose Brewery.

The Wild Goose Brewery, located on Maryland's Eastern Shore in Cambridge, unveiled its first seasonal beer--Snow Goose Winter Ale--for the coming holidays.

Snow Goose is a traditional brown ale brewed in the English style using chocolate malt along with roasted barley.

The brew is available now through January in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Colorado.

Jim Lutz, president of Wild Goose, hopes that Snow Goose is just the first of many seasonal beers to be offered in 1993.

"Consumers are drinking handcrafted beers and looking for seasonals, and we want to be able to offer good ales," Lutz noted.
