Seaside town development plan to be revealed later this month.
A LONG-AWAITED development plan for a South Wales seaside town will be revealed to the public at the end of the month.
The Penarth Town Plan has been developed by Bristol-based consultants White Design and follows public consultation last year. The plan will be made public at the Paget Rooms, Penarth, on September 30.
Meanwhile, Penarth Civic Society will hold a preliminary public "discussion group" at the Trinity Church Rooms at Woodfield Place, Penarth this evening at 7.30pm.
The society has appointed a "community engagement trainer". Liz Court will work with groups in a bid to help deliver the projects from the town plan.
Chris Loyn, president of Penarth Civic Society, said that most people knew the general themes of the plan, including local transport, parking and tourism.
