Searching for mum's friend; Letters letters@coventrytelegraph.net.

MY mother died in 1952 at the age of 31 years. Her close wartime friend was Eileen Bright who came from Coventry.

I never knew my father, but it is likely that Eileen would have met him as she was the closest friend of my mother.

They both served in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force.

Eileen often made the trip to Bolton where my mother lived. Towards the end of the war, my mother was in the RAF Halton Hospital.

Apparently there are still quite a number of Brights in the Coventry area.

If any of them remember Eileen, who may have moved to Canada, I would love to hear from them.
