Search after dad-of-two goes missing.

A FATHER-OF-TWO has gone missing from home and his top job at British Aerospace.

Technical author Alexander Stirling, 39, has not been seen since kissing his wife Julie goodbye on the doorstep of their home in Dundonald, Ayrshire, one morning last month.

He then set off for work at Prestwick Airport in his silver/blue BMW.

Friends say Julie is "terrified" something terrible has happened to her husband, who has suffered from depression.

The father of two girls, known to friends as Alec, is 6ft tall, well built, with short, dark hair, blue eyes and a partial goatee beard.

Last night, a police spokesman said: "We hope Mr Stirling will get in touch to let his family know he is OK. He can speak to us in confidence."
