Scott draws some comfort; Line of the Week.

LAST weekend's coupon wasn't punter friendly with the odd mix of domestic and international matches.

Line of the Week entries were scarce as a result but there was one decent win from Scott Sanderson of Cathcart, Glasgow.

He invested pounds 25 on four draws (four trebles and an accumulator) and pocketed a cool pounds 1259.

The matches he picked were Cyprus v Israel (11-5), Holland v Czech Republic (9-4), Poland v Hungary (12-5) and Ukraine v Spain (11-5).

Scott's prize is a pounds 50 free bet with William Hill and he's going for Man Utd 2 Liverpool 0 (6-1).

Pat O'Donnell of Govanhill, Glasgow, had a claim for Lucky and Unlucky Line of the Week. He took advantage of one bookie's 20-1 offer on Thomas Razanaukas - double that of some firms - to score first and last for Lithuania against Scotland.

He also doubled the Lithuanian with Sol Campbell so he had pounds 105 going on the England defender at 33-1.

So you can imagine Pat's frustration when with the score 0-0 Campbell powered a header towards goal only to see a Turkey defender clear the ball with his hand in the six-yard box. No penalty was awarded but one punter's chance of winning a fortune was gone.

Pat lost out on a pounds 3470 win but at least he collected pounds 315 for his two singles.

His prize is a free pounds 5 scorecast with William Hill and he's going with Bobo Balde to score first and Dundee 0, Celtic 3 (105-1).
