Scotland's big four all set for semis clashes; Bookies view.
Byline: Charlie McCann
FOUR of Scottish football's heavyweights do battle in the League Cup semis tomorrow.
Celtic travel to Edinburgh to play leaders Hearts fresh from scoring 10 goals in two matches in the Premiership.
The Jambos have been a model of consistency having only lost one and drawn another on their ascent to the top of the table.
They have already defeated Celtic in Edinburgh this campaign but the champs look as if they have turned the corner after that earlyseason slump and I'm backing them to score and win at 12-5. Aberdeen and Rangers follow up with a teatime cracker. The Ibrox side will be without both Alfredo Morelos and Kyle Lafferty so must look elsewhere for goalscoring options. The duo are accountable for 38 per cent of Rangers' goals this season.
Aberdeen will be hoping for further good news as Scott McKenna aims to win his race to fitness. The youngster has been a key player for the Dons.
This could go either way but someone who has caught my eye recently is Gers winger Ryan Kent. He has been threatening all season and is now starting to convert - I'll be taking him to net anytime (5-2).
Down south Man United have won more games (35) and scored more goals (98) against Everton than any other club in the history of the EPL League but this is a burgeoning Blues side who have won their last three and are beginning to reap the rewards of the footballing philosophy of Marco Silva.
Whether that will be enough to prevent United taking all three points is debatable, especially if Ashley Young gets stuck into Bernard as he did against Eden Hazard at the weekend.
United are 8-11 to keep the points with BetVictor with the draw 14-5 and Everton 17-4 A home win and both to score is 12-5 is the call.
