Scooter rider with crutches.

A PASSENGER with crutches has been caught on dashcam footage riding on a distinctive orange Vespa scooter, stolen less than an hour earlier.

Riding pillion on the scooter, the image shows the passenger holding crutches as he or she is flanked by two other motorcyclists.

The three motorcycles were caught on camera being ridden through the streets of Southport at 4.30pm on Tuesday. They include a distinctive orange Vespa scooter which police say was stolen at 3.40pm the same day from outside Dunes Splash World, on the Esplanade.
